The whole of last week I was not able to sleep soundly. I was woken up by some or the other sound through every night during this week. By Friday, I was totally exhausted for lack of a nice night's sleep and you know what -- I had been not dreaming my full quota the whole week.
So Friday night I was very very tired and fell asleep really fast. The whole night was one complicated roller coaster ride of dreams. None were very disturbing, but they were just crowding into the night and I was overwhelmed because of the sheer non-stop occurrence of the dreams.
My brother had told me a week ago that our cousin brought a new house in the neighboring town. This dream looks like an offspring of that news. In the dream I went to this cousin's house and it was a twin house. We realized that he had brought 2 adjacent houses, just like we have. I entered one house and there was a connection into the next house from inside. This was quite a surprise and the combined two houses made the living space really huge. The floors were red and they had a nice front yard and a nice back yard.
Now the next dream crowded-in. Here I go to my neighbor's home in my hometown. They had recently done some renovation and I wanted to see how it came out. Turned out that they had increased the living space amazingly. They had combined the living room and the kitchen into one huge living area. They had laid some exquisite and never-before-seen tiles. Their design looked like mosaic tiles of the past, but they had a gloss as if they were laminated from the top. Also, the chunks of stones inside the design were heavenly beautiful colors and combinations. The tiles were not even the same size. They were all different sizes.
Then I went further in. They had used the earlier backyard and made it into a dining area. And there was another alcove where they had set-up the kitchen cooking area. This was kind of a combo spot that saved lot of space and gave you a small cooking area. They said that it was my Father-in-law's idea. I was surprised he even knew them.
Then I went further into the backyard. The backyard was a horrible mess. They were using it as a garbage dump. Literally garbage was strewn all over. I don't know where that came from :-)
